Age Groups

KOALA/WOMBAT ROOM (6 weeks - 2 yr)

The staff in the baby rooms ensure that:

  •  They provide experiences and opportunities for the children to develop their emerging motor skills and use all their senses to explore their world.
  • Time is taken to develop strong attachments with each and every child to ensure that they feel safe and secure in their new environment.
  • A record of each child’s day is kept so that they can share it with parents each afternoon.
  • A strong relationship is built with parents. We believe it is just as important as the relationships we build with the children. It is important to us that parents feel comfortable in leaving their baby with us, knowing that they will be given the best possible care.

Testimonial - "Our daughter Addison has just graduated from the Kookaburra room of CDELC, ready for Kindergarten!  Addison has attended the centre since she was 6 months old.  We have loved our years at the centre and will be sending our new bub there too!  A HUGE thank you to all the wonderful staff of Chelmsford Drive Early Learning Centre for helping us raise Addison over the past 5 years.  No doubt these years are some of the most important years of her development and your contribution to help her grow into the bright, funny, caring, responsible young lady that she is today, is invaluable.  Thank you CDELC.
